YourShop assures running of the latest software releases, and does instant patching if problems occur.
Software
We host on UNIX servers, particularly
FreeBSD®. It is derived from BSD, the version of UNIX® developed at the University of California, Berkeley.
Our web-servers are
Apache. PHP does the content presentation and
PostgreSQL database servers manage your content.
Greener Computing
Our operating system, FreeBSD, dynamically lowers the CPU's speed when under a small workload. Together with YourShop's small footprint, this lowers power consumption.
Reliability
We offer consistent 99.9% uptime. This is based on internal monitoring and does not include downtime for scheduled maintenance. We have in general 0 to 8 hours scheduled maintenance per year.
